DanceSport welcomes to NYC... World Champion Snejana Petrova!!!

After 8 weeks competing in Mexico City for the Segundo Campeonato Mundial de Baile, (The second annual Dance Competition) Snejana and her partner Paul Barris, brought home the championship trophy for the United States. Known primarily for her Standard Ballroom excellence in this competition, Snejana, among other contestants from 11 countries had to perform a variety of dance challenges including Styles that she had never heard of prior to arriving on the set.  Among the crazier challenges of the competition- A dance in the Rain (the segment that saw many contestants injured,) a dance on the Sand, dance duels, and ones called Acrobatico & Quebradita that involve crazy lifts and tricks. Snejana proved her true Championship status by handling every challenge with elegance and a tenacity worthy of an olympic athlete.  We are so proud to have her on
staff at DanceSport while she currently tours the country in the very popular stage production, "BALLROOM WITH A TWIST." Appointments with Snejana are limited so don't miss the opportunity to dance with this World Champion. Especially if you'd like to learn Quebradita.
